Pyrrosia is a genus of attractive epiphytic ferns known for their leathery, often silvery-green fronds and compact growth. They naturally grow on tree trunks, rocks, and mossy surfaces in tropical and subtropical regions of Asia and the Pacific.

They are excellent for terrariums, vivariums, and mounted plant displays, where their unusual foliage adds a lush, natural look. Pyrrosia generally prefers high humidity, moderate indirect light, good airflow, and a well-draining, airy growing medium. Many species are relatively slow-growing and tolerate short periods of drying better than delicate tropical ferns.
